Tips on How to Install Corro Corners

CORRO CORNERS are a system comprising four separate designs chosen to work together, mixed and matched to help seal internal and external corners on buildings that are clad with horizontal corro, custom orb or corrugated sheeting.

The flashing will seal horizontal corrugated profiles, deterring the entry of sparks, embers and vermin. It is available in all standard colorbond colours, with an optional closed-cell foam infill strip for a total seal.

It may also be used around doors, sliding doors, windows, and other penetrations in corrugated buildings.

It is available in sheet widths, 762 mm plus a few mm of overlap for adjustments on lapping.
This product overlaps with itself by a few mm only. For example, to complete a corner 2.1m high, you would require 6 pieces, 3  per side.

What complications could you meet?
Corrugated sheeting can be shrunk and or stretched during installation or due to the movement of structural sections of a building, cladding being stepped on or through aged wear and tear. This means you may need to cut, trim, and restart the position of the sealing product you are using.

Why is sheeting shrunk or stretched during installation?
Wall cladding may be physically pulled together, or apart, for several reasons. The most common ones are they installers are trying to align profiles to the building’s openings like windows or doors. They also adjust sheets to keep them plumb (vertically/horizontally) Reaching the corner of a building with a certain number of sheets is another reason to shrink or stretch the wall sheets.
