Seal your ridge against Ember attack and Vermin!

Shadowline Ridgeseal is a versatile Zincalume flashing / seal product. This product is designed to help you meet your BAL level ( bushfire attack level ) requirements in Australian Standard: 3959 Construction of buildings in bushfire-prone areas 2009 (AS3959) and to keep vermin, leaf litter, dirt and rain out of your shed, garage, house or any other Corrugated steel roofed structure. Works with regular 16mm colorbond and zincalume corrugated and custom orb roofs. Can be used with 21mm corrugated roofs like Accent 21 and similar if you let us know by selecting the deeper 21 profile option when buying.

Shadowline Ridgeseal has an innovative inverted profile design that allows the seal to sit under the leading edge of the ridge capping, placing it into shadow. This means the profile is not visible against the colour of the roof sheet, allowing you to seal effectively and aesthetically. This really helps with matching when your steel roofs’ Colorbond® colour is faded or discontinued.

Two versions of the Zincalume Shadowline Ridge seal are available on this page.
Standard Shadowline and Perforated Shadowline. Both can prevent vermin from coming into your shed.

The new and improved Perforated Vermin & Ember Seals have arrived.
These steel products help maintain your building’s BAL (bushfire attack level) ratings up to FL or Flame Zone while still allowing a degree of ventilation to your building’s envelope.

The ember seals will also exclude vermin like mice, rats, snakes, lizards, birds, bats, and more from your home or shed. This ventilated vermin seal helps you meet very high bushfire ratings while excluding embers and pests.

The new and improved design, manufactured from .55mm Zincalume, includes condensation ports punched to aid drainage and ventilation, plus pre-punched fixing or pilot holes. The perforations allow an approximate 1000mm2 of ventilated area per linear metre.

It’s possible, it can be a little more fiddly, While many of the retroseals would suit, the product Combination Seal is the best for already insulated sheds and shed homes.
