Christmas 2023

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our wonderful customers and your families.
Manufacturing is expected to recommence for most suppliers from the 8th, with some back from the 15th January 2024. We are accepting orders and are queueing them with suppliers, so we recommend placing your orders via our online store at any time, 24/7. The best way to contact us during the Christmas season is by email to admin@shedblog.com.au
Thank you, take care, stay safe, Merry Christmas.

Update OCT 2023
FREIGHT PRICE INCREASES INDUSTRY WIDE.

At the Shedblog, we work very hard to deliver the Shed Products you want. Over the past two years, we have experienced unprecedented price pressures on freight costs. It’s impossible for us to absorb these rises and still deliver the products to you at home or the work site. If the product price with freight is too much, we suggest considering picking up or arranging your own carrier if that’s an option for the particular product/products you require. In most cases, the product and freight we quote you are very competitive. Please reach out if you have any questions.

WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF REVAMPING OUR FAQ PAGE.
PLEASE CONTACT US WITH ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE.

Unprecedented demand for building materials has been affecting lead times on some products, and transport logistics are still having problems. You may sometimes experience freight delays, especially with manually handled products.

Our website has a great deal of information on it, and the answer to your question regarding sheds, carports and garages may already exist.
Start with our FAQ section below and our search bar at the top of the page.

We only ship to Australia & New Zealand at this stage. If you are in Canada or the USA please contact us.

Yes, all of our products are proudly Australian-made.

Once you have checked out you would need to create a new cart. If you have not finalised your order yet you may be able to add more items if they are from the same manufacturer otherwise you may be prompted to split the cart into separate orders anyway.

We have a dozen different suppliers and manufacturers that make up the great offerings from the ShedBlog. They will ship to you from different locations around Australia. The online shopping system on the website cannot separate shipping so when it has products from different suppliers it will ask you to separate your cart (make several transactions) This, in total, will not cost you more but please, if you have any concerns, reach out to help@shedblog.com.au with an email and let us know.

Regular delivery times (Jan 15th – Dec 12th): Most Shed Products available through us are manufactured in 2 – 10 working days + delivery of 2 – 5 working days. The more remote you are the longer it may take. See below for estimates on production times and delivery. Some products do have longer lead times. If lead time is critical please call us to discuss at 0456 729 904 before ordering. Once a product is in the hands of the carrier or Australia Post it is out of our control and subject to the vagaries of their services. We will endeavour to supply a tracking number for you and provide that by email.

Christmas Delivery period (Dec 12th – Jan 15th): During Christmas and Easter period delivery times can vary. Expect extended lead times. In most cases, orders placed between 12th Dec and the 8th January will be delivered after 15th January. Generally, our supplier offices are closed for Christmas for up to two weeks and we are unable to get updates on manufacture or dispatches from them. If your product is time critical we suggest contacting us first before ordering the following. Ph 0456 729 904

On the other hand,

Windows – usually a month. But custom windows take longer which could be up to 4 months.

Vermin Seals – usually processed within the week after the order.

Doors – usually take a month but ETAs are provided once the order has been confirmed.

Manufacturing times (in working days) are subject to changes beyond our control. We have included this list as a guide on what to expect when all the ducks are lined up. We suggest contacting us first if you have a limited lead time as we do not wish to disappoint.

Lysaght products: Orders can take up to 48hrs to be entered into the Lysaght system. Most goods require manufacturing, and most regular sheeting and purlins are rolled within 7-10 working days after keying and before delivery or pick-up can commence. Production Schedules do vary from location to location and product to product. Some items have longer lead times of up to 4 weeks. If timing is a concern, please contact us first and we will get an estimated production time. Some products get manufactured interstate and shipped to local outlets.

Apex and Knee plates: are manufactured to order and currently have a minimum of 10 working days lead time plus shipping. The production schedule can vary outwards based on how busy the turret punch is. Lead times are currently up and are at least 10 working days. We suggest allowing 15 working days and an extra 3-5 days for the hot-dipped galvanised brackets like feet/footing brackets.

Footing Brackets: need to be hot-dipped in Gal and can take an additional 5 working days. Shed bracket orders with footing brackets tend to be 15 working days minimum.

Windows: ** Window lead times have moved out due to very high demand. expect 3-4 weeks **. The manufacture queue is usually from 10 to 14 working days before dispatch. This is longer for non-standard custom orders and at busy times of the year. The important message below is about window deliveries. (Custom size windows, Opaque, Toughened and Grey Tint Glass lead times are extended currently due to high demand, can be up to 12 weeks)

Taurean PA doors: Pick up from various national depots usually approx 20-25 working days after order. Freighted – Doors are usually dispatched within 20-25 working days of the order. Delivery times are dependent on where in the order, manufacture cycle things fall and site location.

Vermin and ember seal products– usually despatched within 3-5 working days.

Shed Stairs: manufacture time is usually approx 10-20 working days dependent on the amount of hot-dip gal components.

Stable Panels: Currently 7-8 week lead time. Can be 4-5 Weeks, but currently 8 weeks.

XtraLocks: Usually dispatched in 2 working days via regular Australia Post or Aramex.

Orders received after 12:00 pm on any day may be deemed to have been received on the next working day due to manufacturers’ order confirmation time frame requirements.

It’s where you’ll find answers to the most commonly asked questions and maybe even some answers to questions you didn’t know you needed to ask.

We are a national company with the Shedblog head office in Toowoomba, Queensland. We service all over Australia through a wide network of manufacturers, suppliers and carriers. If you are in a rural or remote area, it is a good idea to contact us first so we can discuss the best way to supply you.

You are trying to order products from different manufacturers that ship with two different carriers. We cannot manage that in the same shopping cart. It’s kind of like going to the butcher for your meat and the grocer for your veggies.

Ordering online is usually the quickest option as you can add all the details you need when placing your order. If you have any questions please send an email to admin@shedblog.com.au and we will assist you with any advice you may need.

For vermin seals – see Product Exchange FAQ – see below for all other products.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of shed product materials, designs, colours, and sizes which in most cases are customized for you, there are no options for the return of your purchases under buyers remorse, change of mind, purchasing too much or the incorrect ordering of size, colours, shapes or texture.

Orders placed are based on electronic requests via our website’s shopping cart, or over the telephone. They are invoiced and order confirmations are sent. All invoices and order confirmation emails and any other communication from us to you should be checked by you for accuracy ASAP as they reflect what you have ordered, and what will be supplied.
