Where is ShedBlog located?

We are a national company with the Shedblog head office in Toowoomba, Queensland. We service all over Australia through a wide network of manufacturers, suppliers and carriers. If you are in a very remote area, it is a good idea to email us first so we can discuss the best way to supply you.

Is Ordering Online the Best Option

Ordering online is usually the quickest option as you can add all the details you need when placing your order. If you have any questions please send an email to admin@shedblog.com.au and we will assist you with any advice you may need.

Is it safe to order online?

Yes it is safe to order online. Always look for the https: and a green lock icon.
Paypal can allow you to use your credit or debit card in a very safe secure environment. If you would rather do a bank transfer that option is available during checkout (look for the building icon during checkout. Contact us by phone or email for our account details if the email doesn’t arrive. You can still use your credit card at Paypal if you don’t have a Paypal account just look for the ‘use a credit card’ link when you land on the Paypal page. We can also accept CC over the telephone.

Do I get an invoice when I place my order?

Our system sends an email with ‘tax invoice’ included in the text.
Need more for an Invoice? – We send invoices through our accounting software WAVE with Credit Card payments handled by STRIPE. If you wish we can add a purchase order number to the invoice. These come in the email confirming your order. If you do not receive your tax invoice and you require one, please let us know and we shall send you one.

Manufacturing Times

Manufacturing times (in working days) are subject to change and disruption beyond our control. We have included this list as a guide on what to expect when all the ducks are lined up.

 

  • Lysaght products : Orders can take up to 48hrs to be entered into the Lysaght system. Goods may require manufacturing, most regular sheeting and purlins are rolled within 5 working days after keying and before delivery or pick up can commence. Production Schedules do vary from location to location and product to product.  Some items have longer lead times of up to 3 weeks. If timing is a concern, please contact us first and we will get an estimated production time.
  • Apex and Knee plates : are manufactured to order and currently have a minimum 10 working days lead time plus shipping. Production schedule can vary outwards based on how busy the turret punch is. Lead times are currently up and at least 10 working days. April 2018 expect up to 15 days manufacture time.
  • Footing Brackets : need to be hot dipped in Gal and can take an additional 5 working days. Shed bracket orders with footing brackets incl could be up to 15 working days minimum.
  • Windows : The manufacture queue is usually from 10 to 14 working days before dispatch. This can be longer for non standard orders and at busy times of the year.  SEE important message below about window deliveries. (Custom size windows, Opaque, Toughened and Grey Tint Glass lead times are extended currently due to high demand, can be upto 4-5 weeks)
  • Larnec doors: production times are currently up, Standard 650/37/61 doors 10-15 days,  Standard Sentry 200/47 15 days, other doors 20 days +, non standard sizes, Double doors, customs, ultra skins and screened doors allow min 22 working days before dispatch.
  • PADA doors: Pick up from Brisbane Qld warehouse usually 2 working days after order. Freighted – Doors usually dispatched within 3 working Days of order.
  • Insulation: pick up orders usually ready in 1 working day, delivered orders usually dispatched within 2 working days subject to freight company schedules
  • Manufacture : Manufacture payments are non refundable once manufacture has begun.
  • Vermin and ember seal products– usually dispatched within 3-5 working days. Orders placed incorrectly or being returned or exchanged have a 10% restocking charge. The cost of return freight is born by the purchaser. A minimum re-delivery charge of at $38.00 will apply to the replacement order plus any additional price difference between products.
  • Shed Stairs : manufacture time usually approx 10-20 working days dependent on the amount of hot dip gal components.
  • Vents – Fixed or Operable : Large Louvre variety for manufacture, allow up to 22 working days
  • Garden Sheds : Allow production time of approx 5 working days before dispatch
  • Stables: Currently 7-8 week lead time. Can be 4-5 Weeks, but currently 8 weeks.

 

Orders received after 12.00pm may be deemed to have been received on the next working day due to manufacturers order confirmation requirements.

Delivery Times

Regular delivery times (Jan 15th – Dec 12th) :  Most Shed Products available through us are manufactured in 2-10 working days + delivery of 2-5 working days.  The more remote you are the longer it may take. See below for estimates on production times and delivery. Some products do have longer lead times. If lead time is critical please call us to discuss 0422 590 552.


Christmas Delivery period (Dec 12th – Jan 15th) : During Christmas and Easter  period delivery times can vary. Expect extended lead times. Most orders placed between 12th Dec until the 8th January will be delivered after 15th January in most cases. If your product is time critical we suggest contacting us first. Ph 0422 590 552.

Can you deliver to my door?

Please be aware that not all locations are serviced for deliveries “to the door” and that you may be required to collect your order from a local freight depot that is used by the couriers that a particular manufacturer engage to deliver their goods. PLEASE try to supply an address that is attended business hours. If no one is home, delivery may not take place. It’s a good idea to supply your work address or a local business that can accept the goods for you if you won’t be home. With Vermin & Ember seals you can tick a box giving us the authority to leave the goods…at your risk.  NO P.O. BOXES PLEASE except for Corro Mount Plates.

Can I pick up my order?

Some products can be collected, but they need to be prepaid before collection

Roller Doors  - yes – we will deliver to your nearest Stramit Industries depot and you can collect from there. Must pre-pay

PA doors – Yes, the pickup location is in Swan Hill for Larnec or Most Major Cities for others. Must pre-pay

Lysaght steel products – Yes, from your nearest Lysaght branch. Must pre-pay

Insulation – Yes, There are warehouse facilities in each capital city. Must pre-pay

Online Shopping : We utilize PayPal for online shopping transactions due to the very high level of security PayPal provides for your transaction. You can also select “Direct Deposit” to our bank account as an option during checkout if you prefer.

Bluescope Lysaght products Delivery : this can be added during check out. Adds a delivery charge ($190.00) to your shopping cart. $190.00 is Lysaghts Standard Delivery Charge applied by Lysaght. Subject to confirmation of your location.

Tax Invoices : These come in the email confirming your order. If you do not receive your tax invoice please let us know and we shall ensure you receive one promptly.

Payment methods other than Paypal : Paypal can allow you to use your credit or debit card in a very safe secure environment. If you would rather do a bank transfer that option is available during checkout or contact us by phone or email for our account details. Cheques or Money orders are accepted, please call or email for details.

WINDOWS – DON’T NOT SIGN FOR WINDOWS UNTIL YOU HAVE CHECKED INSIDE THE BOX. ASK COURIER TO WAIT. DO NOT SIGN OR ACCEPT WINDOWS THAT ARE BROKEN.
Please return DAMAGED windows with the same Courier/On-forwarder to allow replacements to be dispatched. Contact the ShedBlog on the same day to report such damage. Standard freight terms apply, once windows are signed for with the courier they are assumed to be in good condition, Our manufacturer WILL NOT replace or credit damaged windows that have been received and signed for.
