These Metal Profile Flashings when fit correctly to your roof will reduce the gaps or openings along your ridge, hips and valleys to less that 3mm.
This is a very important prerequisite when trying to meet your BAL ratings when building or renovating in Bushfire zones AS 3959.
How to order.

Work out the total amount of profiles you need in metres and select the pack size you need from the list beside that shows the various pack sizes available. Fill in the text box telling us the main rafter pitch of the roof. In the order break down box write the quantities required, for example : 10m of Shadowline ridge seal, 20m of Hip and 20m of Valley.

They travel by TOLL Road and their on-forwarders or occasionally with Australia Post. Some locations may be deemed inaccessible by the freight network and will require collection from a regional depot.
The flashings are made to suit sheet widths plus a little to allow for overlapping and sheet creeping. The tabs have a unique shape and length, and are set at such an angle from the main body of the flashing that they can create pressure where they meet the sheeting corrugations. The 30° angle of the tabs on some versions of these flashings allow them to be tapped with a hammers handle to seat firmly into the profile if necessary.
Minimum order quantities apply of 18.22m per profile shape. You need to order for each side of a ridge or valley, for example to do a 9m ridge you need 18m of material to have enough to do each side.

Ridge flashing
Zincalume Shadowline Ridge Seal used with roll top ridge capping. It’s hard to see but it’s there.
For sealing the ridge line you can use Shadowline.
By informing us what the main rafter pitch of your roof is we can supply you with metal flashing seals manufactured to suit the hip and the valleys as described below.
Hip Flashings
When the Pitch of the roof is known, slope of the Hip or the exact measure between 10 ribs on the roof sheets running down the hip line then an accurate pre cut metal flashing can be produced to seal the hip line capping and also to fit in the valley, greatly improving the ember sealing of the roof space and again saving time and labour inscribing and possibly damaging the roof and it’s Colorbond® or Zincalume® coating.
Valley Flashings
When the Pitch of the roof is known, slope of the Valley or the exact measure between 10 ribs on the roof sheets running down the Valley line then an accurate pre cut metal flashing can be produced to fit in beside the Valley Sheet greatly improving the ember sealing of the roof space and again saving time and labour when sealing the roof.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Orders placed incorrectly or being returned or exchanged have a 10% restocking charge. The cost of return freight is borne by the purchaser.
If replacements are being shipped a minimum re-delivery charge of $40.00 will apply to the replacement order plus any additional price difference between products will be added or subtracted accordingly.
Change of mind returns for Vermin seals of some varieties will be considered on a case-by-case basis and by prior arrangement. They attract a 20% restocking charge plus the actual cost of the original freight will be deducted. The cost of return freight is borne by the purchaser who is returning the products.
Unfortunately, our manufacturing arrangements mean we have to order in quantities of 18.28m or more. This is why the quantities are listed as such on the website. Don’t short your order, please.
Our Vermin & Emberseal manufacturer does not operate pickup or maintain any payment facilities at the factory. Orders online are delivered directly to you in most circumstances.
We have a wide range of retroseals suitable for installing on sheds that are already built. Vermaseal itself is for installation during the build.

Vermin seals are shipped via TOLL and sometimes Australia Post
Vermin and ember seal products– usually despatched within 3-5 working days. Orders placed incorrectly or being returned or exchanged have a 10% restocking charge. The cost of return freight is borne by the purchaser. A minimum re-delivery charge of $38.00 will apply to the replacement order plus any additional price difference between products.
It is always best to order slightly more than you need as the Minimum Order Quantity for vermin & ember seals is 18m. This min qty is not set by us, it is set by the factory. So if you don’t order enough then you would be up for another lot of freight and potentially the minimum order of 18m. You can always email or call if you need special assistance calculating how much vermin/ember seal you need.

It’s possible, it can be a little more fiddly, While many of the retroseals would suit, the product Combination Seal is the best for already insulated sheds and shed homes.

Superseal installs at approximately a 30- 45 deg angle so please fix a receiver strip in place first, place the clip onto the strip and check fit that way.
