Dynabolts, Sleeve Anchors and L bolts are common hold down methods for sheds and garages. Sleeve Anchors or dynabolts are a popular method to fasten a shed or garages columns to the concrete slab. This is usually accomplished by screwing or bolting a bracket to the concrete and then fixing the column to the bracket.

Another common method is to place L bolts into the slab when you are pouring the concrete and positioning them where you are going to have a column as demonstrated in the image.
