Estimated cost : The cost of an enclosed Farm Shed kit varies widely from as little as $4,500 for a small 6m up to $50,000 or more for a big shed kit. 
Usual features : An enclosed farm shed will usually have at least 2 large roller doors or sets of sliding doors designed to take the largest piece of machinery that the shed is required to shelter. They will often have a matching door on the opposite side of the building, allowing it to become a drive through situation. Farm sheds are usually Zinc.
Special considerations : Farm sheds of less than 200m2 (NSW SEPP regs) are generally considered an exempt development as long as certain criteria are met like distance from boundaries, distance from neighbouring property homes, size, site etc. Sizes : Farm Sheds are usually described in bay sizes and spans. Bay sizes are usually 4m or 6m. Sheds are found from 2 to 10 bays in length (3 -6 bays being the most common). Spans for farm sheds are another variable and usually set by the length of equipment that need to be stored. Standard spans could be considered as 6m, 7.5m, 9m, 12m, 15m, 18m, 20m & 30m
