AMIA Windows Installation Instructions
1. Accurately locate the window and cut the sheeting. The opening should finish in the pan or valley equally/evenly spaced between ribs/in the valley/pan
2. Run a bead of silicon around the window, on the face of the fin, that will be pressed to the wall sheeting.
3. Open the sliding window to help you hold and position the window into the opening.
4. Screw the window into place using Tek screws from the outside, being sure to check it is level and square before putting too many screws in.
5. Only place a couple of screws to start if you are going to add structural jambs to the top, bottom, or side. Release some screws, fit jambs, and re-screw.
6. To complete the sealing, we recommend running a full bead of silicone vertically down each jamb externally to seal the junction of the jamb to the wall cladding. Particular attention must be given to seal the junction of the jamb to the head and sill.

Additional Tips for Steel Sheds
Rust Protection: After cutting the steel, treat the cut edges with a rust-inhibiting primer or paint to prevent rust.
Thermal Expansion: Consider the potential for thermal expansion of metal. Ensure the window frame allows for slight movement to prevent warping or cracking over time.
Insulation: If your shed is insulated, ensure that the window installation maintains the integrity of the insulation barrier.
