The exterior has a trim bead to conceal the fixing screws. There are no fasteners visible externally when installed correctly.

Sashes are independent of frames making them more energy efficient and can be cheaper to re-glaze if a glass pane is broken. Window latches at the mullion for easy access. Windows are designed and sized to work with the most common shed wall profiles.

WideSpan do not supply windows with their sheds and the standard materials they provide for framed openings for windows are 600x600, 900x1200 and 900x1500. Our window manufacturer can make windows to these sizes if you want them so we have added selections that suit the 600 x 600 window opening, the 900 x 1200 window opening and the 900 x 1500 window opening. You can choose from the 4 different varieties we have already available to choose from or you can email or call us for a custom quote, for the quality Australian designed and manufactured windows. Select the Colorbond® Colour

Please ensure you describe the colour you require based on Colorbonds standard range. Zinc windows supplied as Shale Grey.

Select your Screens 'if required'

There are three main options plus choices of mesh type.

Select Trim Bead Extension if required

In addition to the normal trim beads supplied with every window, the trim bead extension is an optional extra to further conceal any fixings and enhance the visual appeal of your windows. Vertical 790 option for when your cladding is Vertical and various Horizontal options if your cladding is horizontal cladding.

Please note that we suggest the Bushfire Resistant should also include the addition of aluminium screens as a minimum.

For Bushfire Windows and Doors the 5mm Toughened Glass suits to BAL-29 and we recommend the addition of Aluminium screens. For BAL-40 you require 6mm Toughened Glass and all glazing must be protected by an external screen.

The Windows have 16mm rollers with tyres that do not form ‘flat spots’ and stainless steel bearings to ensure smooth and easy operation.

Far superior to cheaper windows that operate on plastic guides that often break and are difficult to open and close! These are the best windows for your shed.

These windows are quick and simple to install, instructions are provided with every window. They are self flashing when correctly installed so there is no need to provide any other metal flashings to trim or waterproof these windows. They have a 19mm fin on all sides to assist with the simple fixing into position with a few tek screws.

There are also no ugly black PVC sill flap along the bottom to close off pans in the cladding. Sill flaps were designed for brick and masonry sills, not steel cladding.

All these great windows are engineered to meet or exceed all Australian wind regions. Ask us for full product options and engineering details if you require them. These widths are sized to fit most common steel wall sheeting profiles used for Australian sheds.

Cyclone region shed windows - Glazing is available for some shed windows that will meet the impact requirements of AS1170.2 2002 Clause 5.3.2. This glass can replace the requirement to provide expensive externally fixed ‘cyclone screens’, required for some windows in cyclonic regions C & D. These windows also provide added security. If you have special requirements that you don’t see on this page then please contact us.

We can supply these windows Australia wide. Normal lead time approx. 2-3 weeks. They are specially packaged for transport via National distribution networks. Please ensure that all packages are inspected upon delivery for any damage.
